Job Description
• 6+ years of hands-on DBA experience on major relational database platforms (e.g., Microsoft
\n
SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
\n
• Advanced SQL & T-SQL / PL/SQL / PL/pgSQL proficiency.
\n
• Deep knowledge of backup/restore, replication, log shipping, clustering
\n
• Strong performance tuning expertise (execution plans, indexing, statistics, memory
\n
configuration).
\n
• Capacity Planning: Proven experience building forecasting models, performing trend analysis,
\n
and making proactive scaling recommendations.
\n
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent.
\n
• Cloud expertise: AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, Azure SQL/Managed Instance; familiarity with AWS
\n
native monitoring (CloudWatch) and backup services (Snapshots, Aurora Backtrack).
\n
• Monitoring tools: SolarWinds DPA, Redgate, pgAdmin, CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana,
\n
