Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer to join their team. Be responsible for developing enhancements for their customized ERP platform in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Progress OpenEdge applications and integrations.
- Build and support APIs using PASOE and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support deployments.
- Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Progress OpenEdge / Progress 4GL development experience.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, Linux/Unix, and application integration.
- Experience with PASOE, WebSpeed, Progress databases, and OpenEdge Studio.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, AJAX, and API development/testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SVN, and CI/CD processes.
