Compensation: $60,000 per year

The company holds both Georgia and Michigan electrical contractor licenses, including a Michigan Master Electrician license.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual Project Coordinator to support daily operations at our Michigan branch and active project sites in the Lansing area. This position plays a vital role in coordinating project administration, maintaining safety documentation, supporting inventory control, assisting with employee management, and facilitating communication between Korean management and local field personnel.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in both office and construction site environments, and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. While bilingual communication is an important aspect of the position, the primary focus is on operational coordination and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Administration & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain daily reports, project progress updates, work logs, and project documentation.
- Organize and manage safety-related documentation, compliance records, and required site paperwork.
- Create reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Maintain accurate project files, internal records, and document control.
- Translate project documents, emails, manuals, and internal communications between Korean and English as needed.
Safety & Operations Support
- Assist with maintaining safety documentation and ensuring required records are properly organized.
- Support onboarding paperwork and employee documentation.
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to field operations.
- Assist project managers with operational reporting and project tracking.
Inventory & Material Control
- Track inventory levels, tools, equipment, and construction materials.
- Maintain inventory records and coordinate deliveries with vendors and project teams.
- Assist with ordering and organizing materials to support project schedules.
Employee & Office Support
- Assist with employee scheduling, attendance tracking, and general administrative support.
- Coordinate communication between field employees and management.
- Help organize meetings, prepare documentation, and support day-to-day office operations.
- Provide bilingual communication support when interacting with Korean management, local employees, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between Korean-speaking managers and English-speaking employees.
- Provide interpretation during meetings, safety briefings, and project discussions when necessary.
- Help resolve communication issues and ensure smooth coordination between project teams.
Qualifications:
- Fully bilingual in Korean and English (spoken and written)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in project coordination, office administration, operations support, or construction administration preferred
- Experience with inventory management, safety documentation, or employee administration is a strong plus
- Background in construction, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
