We partner directly with finance, operations, and IT leaders to guide organizations through complex ERP transformations — spanning large-scale migrations, new implementations, and ongoing system optimization.
About the Role\n
Coast Technology Services is seeking a remote Senior Acumatica Solution Architect to lead full-lifecycle Acumatica implementations and complex legacy system migrations for our mid-market and enterprise clients. This is a senior, client-facing role for a consultant who can independently lead discovery workshops, own solution design and configure and deploy Acumatica. The role also requires mentorship of junior team members as well as serve as the primary technical and functional authority for current and prospective clients. This is a full time position.
Key Responsibilities\n
• Serve as lead consultant on Acumatica implementations and migrations, owning the full implementation lifecycle from end-to-end
\n
• Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops with client finance, operations, and IT stakeholders; translate business processes into scalable Acumatica configurations
\n
• Architect and configure core and advanced modules — Financials, Distribution, Project Accounting, Manufacturing, and CRM
\n
• Design and build data migration strategies using Import Scenarios, SQL, and Acumatica's REST API, including migrations from Dynamics SL, GP, and other legacy platforms
\n
• Lead custom development scoping using Acumatica's customization framework (C#/.NET) and Generic Inquiries; partner with developers to deliver integrations
\n
• Configure security roles, branch/company structures, and approval workflows for complex multi-entity organizations
\n
• Own client relationships on assigned engagements — manage scope, set expectations, and act as the escalation point for solution-level issues
\n
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level consultants across engagements
\n
• Partner with project managers on scoping, estimating, and timeline management for new and existing engagements
\n
• Deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure client self-sufficiency post-go-live
\n
• Provide post-go-live optimization, troubleshooting, and support; identify opportunities for process improvement and platform expansion
\n
• Stay current on Acumatica releases, best practices, and the broader ERP/AI consulting landscape; contribute to internal methodology and delivery playbooks
Required Qualifications\n
• 4-6 years of hands-on Acumatica implementation experience, including at least 2 full-lifecycle, lead-consultant engagements
\n
• Deep functional expertise across GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Order Management, and Project Accounting
\n
• Proven experience with Import Scenarios, Generic Inquiries, REST API integrations, and the Acumatica customization framework
\n
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, migration mapping, and troubleshooting
\n
• Demonstrated ability to lead client workshops and manage senior stakeholder relationships independently
\n
• Experience mentoring or leading junior consultants on project teams
\n
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements with minimal oversight
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications\n
• Acumatica certifications (Application Consultant, Technical Consultant, or equivalent)
\n
• Experience migrating clients from Microsoft Dynamics SL to Acumatica
\n
• Manufacturing, Construction, or Distribution edition experience
\n
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and automation tooling (e.g., n8n) as they relate to ERP integrations
\n
• Prior consulting or professional services background with a track record of billable-hour delivery
\n
• Exposure to AI-enabled finance or ERP tooling
