About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build core services on our platform. You will own features end-to-end — from design through production operation — across domains like claims adjudication, credentialing, and provider data. You'll work in a remote-first environment, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teammates across the US and our Bengaluru engineering hub, and you'll help drive our adoption of microservices and agentic-AI architectures.

Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Ownership: Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate services and features on our platform, from technical design docs through production monitoring.
- Technical Quality: Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code. Raise the bar through thoughtful code reviews and by improving the systems and tooling around you.
- Architecture Contribution: Contribute to design decisions on scalability, reliability, and maintainability across our microservices. Help ensure platform security and compliance with industry standards (e.g., HITRUST, SOC 2, HIPAA).
- AI-First Development: Build and integrate agentic-AI capabilities into production workflows, with appropriate guardrails for a regulated healthcare environment.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with product management, QA, and cross-time-zone engineering teams. Mentor earlier-career engineers through reviews and pairing.

Qualifications:
\n

\n

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and microservices in production.
- Strong proficiency in Python. Experience in Golang is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and building systems for compliance is a strong plus.
- Experience developing data crawlers or high-volume data ingestion pipelines is a plus.
- Experience in the insurance or healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong written communication skills — comfortable working async in a remote, cross-time-zone team.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
