Position Overview
Gasser Chair is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in keeping our manufacturing equipment and facility operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving mechanical and electrical problems, working with a variety of equipment, and helping minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Working On
- Performing preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Assisting with the installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documenting completed repairs
- Monitoring and maintaining spare parts inventory
- Collaborating with production team members to quickly resolve equipment issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency
- Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies
- Assisting in training team members on the proper operation and basic maintenance of equipment

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or industrial maintenance certification preferred
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and maintenance procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various manufacturing environments, including standing, climbing, bending, and working around production equipment
