Job Title: Application Engineer
Location: Hiram, Ga

The Application Engineer partners with customers, sales teams, and engineering groups to develop and support application-specific solutions. This position is responsible for evaluating customer requirements, recommending appropriate products and controls, supporting product development initiatives, and providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Gather application requirements directly from customers and customer-facing teams.
Provide technical guidance and support regarding product selection and application design.
Recommend appropriate auxiliary equipment, including variable frequency drives, soft starters, electronic control circuits, and other system-enhancing products.
Support internal and external sales teams by providing technical product expertise and application assistance.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to drive cost reductions, quality improvements, and product optimization initiatives.
Assist with planning and executing product testing to evaluate performance and durability under real-world operating conditions.
Partner with new product development teams to support innovation and product enhancements.
Assist in creating technical documentation, including brochures, installation guides, and product application materials.
Develop Controls Functional Specifications and Descriptions of Operation documents.
Communicate technical information effectively to customers, vendors, managers, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics preferred), Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 1 year of experience using AutoCAD.
Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and SAP.
Ability to work with both imperial and metric measurements.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, journals, specifications, and regulations.
Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions in a technical environment.
