Job DescriptionMy Next Career Path Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and repair industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, and a commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  3. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  4. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  5. Install, maintain, and replace motors, bearings, belts, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.
  6. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
  7. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
  8. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
  9. Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  4. Experience with PLC troubleshooting is preferred.
  5. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  6. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  7. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  2. Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
  3. Comfortable working in manufacturing or industrial environments with varying temperatures.
  4. Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as required.

Schedule & PaySchedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 7:00 Am – 5:00 Pm (Overtime may be required)Pay: $28.00 per hour (DOE)
