Pest Control Technician Job Summary
Our company is looking for a Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this position, you will initially work with the owner to service residences and restaurants inside and outside for pests and rodents. While we are willing to provide on-the-job training, our ideal candidate will already have a state license and professional pest control experience. You will travel from site to site, so you need to have a valid driver's license and some experience driving larger vehicles. Full time, Part-time, seasonal employees welcome.
Pest Control Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect the property for evidence of pests and rodents (after training)
- Spray for pests around the property as instructed by owner i.e. Ants, Spiders, Ticks
- Refill Rodent Control Bait Stations
- Log products and amounts used
Pest Control Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Pest control experience preferred but will train right candidate
- Enjoy working outside
- Enjoy speaking and helping others solve problems
- Strong communication, analytical, and observational skills
- Valid NYS Drivers License - in good standing
