Position: Release Train Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months

Special Skillset:

\n

\n
• Facilitate PI Planning

\n

• Help the ART Prepare for PI Planning (Logistics, ART backlog Readiness, WSJF, etc.)

\n

• Facilitate the 2-day in-person PI planning event.

\n

• Coach alignment to Enterprise Strategy and cascaded OKRs.

\n

\n

\n

Support PI Execution:

\n

\n
• Track progress; ART Predictability Measure; Velocity; Cycle Time, and other Flow metrics

\n

• Facilitate ART synchronization events (Coach Sync, ART, Sync, Architect Sync, PO Sync, I&A, IP Iteration, System Demo)

\n

• Support ART backlog refinement.

\n

• Promote DevOps and continuous delivery.

\n

• Assist Business Owners in understanding their role and assigning business value.

\n

• Coordinate planning efforts with other ARTs.

\n

\n

\n

Coach the ART:

\n

\n
• Coach with powerful questions.

\n

• Coach Scrum Masters/Team Coaches in ART and Team Events and practices.

\n

• Coach ART roles including system architects, product management, business owners, etc.

\n

\n

\n

Optimize Flow:

\n

\n
• Establish pull systems to optimize the flow of value.

\n

• Establish ART flow measures.

\n

• Improve the flow of value.

\n

• Facilitate value stream mapping.

\n

• Reduce or eliminate cross-team dependencies.

\n

\n

\n

Improve Relentlessly:

\n

\n
• Drive relentless improvement through Agility Health TeamHealth Assessments and Inspect & Adapt events.

\n

• Promote built-in quality practices in Coach, PO syncs and CoPs.

\n

• Leverage SAFe core competency self-assessments.

\n

• Collaborate with Value Management Office and Lean-Agile transformation team.

\n

• Listen to and support teams in problem identification and decision-making.

\n

• Create an environment of mutual influence.

\n

• Understand and empathize with others.

\n

• Encourage and support the personal development of each individual and the development of teams.

Must have:

• SAFe Release Train Engineer 6.0 certification

\n

• Scaled Agile Practice Consultant 6.0 Certification

\n

• Agility Health Facilitator Certification
