Support Services of Virginia is recruiting a Site Coordinator in Danville to provide hands-on leadership and person-centered support for individuals receiving services. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others while helping individuals build independence and achieve their personal goals.

As a Site Coordinator, you will support individuals in residential and community environments, helping them participate fully in daily life while encouraging growth, independence, and community involvement. Every day presents an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

The Site Coordinator is responsible for implementing Individual Support Plans (ISPs), providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Assistant Site Coordinators (ASCs), and serving as a role model for Positive Practices and quality service delivery.

This position requires daytime, evening, and weekend availability. Overnight hours may also be required based on site needs and staffing requirements. The Site Coordinator reports directly to the Site Service Coordinator or Regional Head of Services.

Compensation

• $15.50 per hour

Qualifications

• Ability to pass criminal and registry background checks

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with proof of education

• Clear tuberculosis screening

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude

• Strong communication skills

• Strong time management skills

• Ability to work independently and accept constructive feedback

• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid, Medication Management, Medicaid Waiver Certification, and Core Competencies

• Basic math skills

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries is preferred
