LEASING CONSULTANT

Fort Lauderdale, FL

POSITION DETAILS

Pay: $25-$27/hour

Schedule: Full-Time | 5 Days per Week

Language Requirement: Bilingual English/Spanish Required

Experience: 2+ Years of Apartment Leasing Experience Strongly Preferred

Weekends: Two Saturdays per Month Required

ABOUT THE ROLE

A luxury Class A apartment community is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to join its onsite team. This role is ideal for a leasing professional who is passionate about resident relations, prospect engagement, and maintaining high occupancy levels in a luxury multifamily environment.

The selected candidate will serve as the first impression of the community, guiding prospects through the leasing process while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leasing & Occupancy

• Conduct apartment tours and effectively showcase community features and amenities
• Follow up with prospects and convert leads into signed leases
• Maintain strong occupancy through closing skills and consistent prospect engagement
• Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts

Administrative Functions

• Process rental applications, lease agreements, and renewals
• Maintain accurate resident, prospect, and leasing records
• Utilize property management software to track activity and leasing performance

Resident Relations

• Deliver a luxury-level customer experience
• Address resident and prospect inquiries professionally and promptly
• Assist with resident events, community outreach, and retention initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and presentation
• Proficiency with computers and property management systems

Preferred

• 2+ years of apartment leasing experience
• Experience within Class A or luxury multifamily communities
• Knowledge of leasing software such as AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage, or similar platforms
• Proven ability to meet occupancy goals and close leases
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
