Low Voltage Technician
Pay Range: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
Outsource is seeking a motivated Cable Technician to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with at least a year of hands-on experience in cable installation, maintenance, or repair who is ready to take on a variety of field assignments. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a crew in both residential and commercial settings.

Job Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair coaxial and fiber optic cabling for residential and commercial customers
- Troubleshoot signal issues and resolve connectivity problems in a timely manner
- Set up and configure cable boxes, modems, and related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on cable infrastructure to prevent service interruptions
- Document work orders, service calls, and equipment installations accurately
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain services performed and address questions
- Follow safety protocols when working with ladders, bucket trucks, and electrical systems
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in cable installation, telecommunications, or a related field
- Working knowledge of coaxial, fiber optic, and Ethernet cabling systems
- Ability to use hand tools, testing equipment, and cable installation tools
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay range of $18.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and project requirements
