Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair industrial production equipment, including extruders, grinders, shredders, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders accurately via CMMS
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and safely
- Assist with equipment installs, improvements, and fabrication work
- Support production teams with equipment operation, cleaning, and setup
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Document completed work and communicate issues clearly across shifts
Preferred Skills & Experience- Mechanical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)

Basic knowledge of:

Hydraulics and pneumatics

Extrusion equipment (a plus but not required)

Bearings, belts, chains, and drive systems
-
Welding and fabrication (a plus)

Electrical experience (VFDs, motors, PLC troubleshooting) is a plus, but mechanical ability is the priority
Work Environment & Requirements- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working around moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures
- Ability to climb, work at heights, and work in tight or confined spaces
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation
