Pay Rate/Schedule:
$17.00 per hour for Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
$18.00 per hour for Tuesday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Overnight Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility in Fishkill, NY. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works well independently, and is comfortable performing physical cleaning tasks during overnight hours.
The Overnight Janitor plays an important role in ensuring the building is ready for daily operations by completing routine cleaning, sanitation, and general upkeep tasks.
Janitor Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust common areas, workspaces, and other assigned areas

Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards

Empty trash and recycling containers and restock necessary supplies

Respond to spills, messes, and minor cleaning-related issues promptly

Perform periodic deep cleaning and assist with special cleaning projects as needed

Use cleaning supplies and equipment properly and store them safely after use

Help maintain a neat, safe, and professional facility environment
Qualifications & Skills:

Previous janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning experience preferred

Experience with floor care is a plus

Ability to work independently during overnight hours

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Moving or materials-handling experience is helpful
