Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a major pharmaceutical capital project in Colorado valued at over $650 million. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role on a large-scale, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, supporting the successful coordination and integration of complex multi-disciplinary BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will act as a central point of coordination between engineering, architectural, construction, and trade partners, ensuring models are effectively managed, clash-free, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Coordinate and manage BIM deliverables across multiple project disciplines including Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Process systems.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Manage the integration of three to four discipline-specific models into a federated project model.
- Review and validate BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and client requirements.
- Perform clash detection and clash resolution using industry-standard software platforms.
- Track, assign, and close coordination issues identified during model reviews.
- Facilitate communication between design teams, construction teams, and project management personnel to ensure seamless model integration.
- Maintain model integrity and ensure accurate representation of field conditions throughout design and construction.
- Generate BIM reports, coordination documentation, and model status updates for project leadership.
- Support construction sequencing, logistics planning, and installation strategies through BIM and digital construction tools.
- Collaborate with VDC, Project Controls, Design Managers, and Construction Managers to drive project delivery objectives.
- Assist with model-based quantity take-offs, constructability reviews, and digital handover requirements where required.

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Proven experience working as a BIM Coordinator, BIM Lead, VDC Coordinator, or similar role on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong experience coordinating complex BIM models across multiple disciplines.
- Previous experience integrating and managing federated models consisting of three or more disciplines.
- Proficiency with:
- Autodesk Revit
- Navisworks Manage
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- BIM 360
- AutoCAD
- Experience conducting clash detection and model coordination workshops.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and information management processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead coordination meetings and drive issue resolution.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder project environment.

Preferred Experience

- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or mission-critical projects.
- Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments and highly serviced facilities.
- Understanding of cleanrooms, process systems, clean utilities, and pharmaceutical manufacturing infrastructure.
- Experience working alongside EPCM firms, general contractors, and owner-side project teams.
- Knowledge of construction sequencing, digital delivery, and VDC best practices.
