Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Systems Administrator to support and maintain core IT infrastructure in Deer Park, Illinois. This role focuses on ensuring reliable system performance, managing user access, and providing technical support across a Microsoft-based environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with server administration, desktop support, and virtualization technologies while working effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, and access controls.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments to ensure stability, security, and performance.
• Provide technical assistance for Windows 10 endpoints, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Manage and support Dell hardware platforms, coordinating maintenance and addressing infrastructure-related concerns.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Citrix environments to maintain secure and efficient user access.
• Perform routine system updates, patching, and preventative maintenance across servers and workstations.
• Investigate system incidents and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime and business disruption.
• Document system configurations, support procedures, and recurring issues to improve operational consistency.• Proven experience administering Active Directory in a business environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration and support.
• Practical experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 systems.
• Familiarity with Dell enterprise hardware and related support practices.
• Working knowledge of Citrix technologies and virtualized access environments.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues methodically and resolve them efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for user support and documentation.
