About the Role:
As a Telecommunicator in aviation, you’ll be the unseen essential link. From 911 emergencies to supporting emergency landing procedures and airport operations, you'll coordinate communications that keep our airport humming 24/7. Working side-by-side with a tight-knit crew of skilled Telecommunicators and reporting to the Telecommunications Supervisor, you’ll help guide the safe and efficient response to situations involving EMS, commercial flights, and airport operations. Every shift is a new flight path—routine or unexpected—and your calm coordination helps ensure a smooth landing every time. Maximum – Based on experience
Minimum - $ 19.76
What You’ll Do:
- Provides efficient response to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance concerning crimes, fires, rescue needs, FAA flight information, maintenance, parking services, or other general information.
- Effectively prioritizes and documents calls for service to include location, jurisdiction, action, and agency to dispatch.
- Operates an 800 MHz radio system to contact Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, Fire, Airport Operations, Traffic Control, Information Services, Maintenance, FAA, Parking, and other units; provides information about the situation in real-time and dispatches appropriate personnel.
- Operates a computer-aided dispatch system (CAD) to receive, review, and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls and requests for assistance from airport employees, tenants, passengers, and government agencies, including public and private entities. Takes appropriate action based on established policies and procedures.

- 6 months of experience in dispatching, call center, or other related experience, or educational equivalent.
