We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Groundskeeper to help maintain clean, safe, and attractive outdoor spaces. In this role, you will support the upkeep of lawns, walkways, landscaping areas, and exterior common spaces while contributing to a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, raking, and leaf removal
- Maintain walkways, parking areas, entrances, and exterior common spaces in a clean and orderly condition
- Water plants, shrubs, and landscaped areas as needed
- Assist with planting, mulching, weeding, and seasonal landscaping tasks
- Collect litter and debris from outdoor areas and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor grounds for safety hazards and report maintenance concerns promptly
- Support snow and ice removal efforts when applicable
- Operate basic groundskeeping tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Follow all company safety guidelines and maintain equipment in good working condition
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, custodial work, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and outdoor maintenance practices
- Ability to safely use hand tools and common groundskeeping equipment
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials commonly associated with grounds maintenance
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, seasonal cleanup, or basic landscape care
- Experience with power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, or mowers
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
