As a Security Officer Experienced Armed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and company policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lot, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or loading areas to help support access control, observe customer and staff activity, and report suspicious behavior.
- Document incidents, policy violations, and/or notable activity, and communicate with local management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
