Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: $20–$22/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Career Strategies is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a residential apartment community in Rochester, NY. If you have apartment maintenance experience and are looking for your next opportunity with weekly pay and a steady weekday schedule, we'd like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner
• Perform apartment turns and make-ready repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC issues
• Repair appliances, doors, blinds, and fixtures
• Complete painting, drywall, and general carpentry repairs
• Assist with preventive maintenance and property upkeep
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents while maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and general repairs
• Basic HVAC and appliance repair experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work both indoors and outdoors as needed
