Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fountains Rehabilitation at Mill Cove, a vibrant Senior Living Center in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for our residents.
Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems

Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime

Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution

Collaborate with other departments to address any issues or concerns

Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory of parts and supplies

Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on new techniques and technologies
Maintenance Technician Requirements:

Prior experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High school diploma or equivalent required
