Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Cognos Developer position for our client.
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 5 months
Duties:

Develop, maintain, and enhance IBM Cognos reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions.

Build and maintain Cognos Framework Manager models and dimensional data structures.

Develop and optimize SQL queries across relational databases.

Support Cognos deployments, lifecycle management, and promotion across environments.

Configure Cognos security and support LDAP/Active Directory integration.

Develop and maintain TM1/IBM Planning Analytics models and TurboIntegrator (TI) processes as needed.
Skills:
-
IBM Cognos Analytics 11/12, Report Studio, and Framework Manager.

Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.

Dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing.
-
Cognos deployment, environment promotion, and security configuration.

TM1/IBM Planning Analytics and TI process development highly preferred.
Experience:
-
9+ years of hands-on IBM Cognos development experience.

Experience developing enterprise reporting solutions and working with relational databases.

Familiarity with Cognos lifecycle management and multi-environment deployments.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
