An Apartment Turnover Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that empty apartments are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, preparing them for the next tenant. Their responsibilities typically include:
- Dusting and wiping down all surfaces including countertops, shelves, and furniture.
- Vacuuming or sweeping and mopping all floors, including carpets and hard surfaces.
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Disinfecting and sanitizing bathrooms, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
- Cleaning kitchen appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, both inside and out.
- Removing any trash or debris left behind by previous occupants.
- Checking for any maintenance issues or damages and reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
- Making sure the apartment is presentable and welcoming for the new tenant's arrival.
