Job Description
As a Facility Cleaner, you will be responsible for the execution of routine and non-routine cleaning of operational areas, following work instructions and/or SOPs, with a focus on 'right the first time' executions. This role includes maintaining cGMP compliance in assigned work, documenting all activities, completing preventative maintenance tasks on time, and ensuring tasks are completed with a method of prioritization. You will also participate in shift exchanges, one-on-one meetings, and team shifts. Your main responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing the production areas to support the manufacture of Commercial and Clinical Biologics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental cleaning and formulation of cleaning solutions.
- Complete documentation and preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform visual inspections.
- Sanitize every piece of equipment that is stainless steel to avoid deviations and ensure quality.
- Document sterilization processes per cGMP protocol.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of cleaning experience required.
- Some GMP experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer skills needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production, GMP, and industrial cleaning.
- Ability to perform janitorial duties and sanitizing.

Work Environment
Training will occur on a 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM rotating 2-2-3 schedule, moving to a 3rd shift from 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM. The work environment follows Cleanroom/GMP protocols. You must be willing to wear a full gowning suit, including body suit, gloves, hair and beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses. Gowning materials include Tyvek, Nitrile, and/or Latex gloves. Prohibited items include makeup, jewelry, nail polish, cologne, and perfume. You must be able to wear a respirator, lift a minimum of 25 lbs independently, and stand for 80% of the shift. This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.45/hr.
