Director of IT

Position Overview
The Director of IT is responsible for overseeing the information technology strategy and implementation to support the organization's goals. This role involves managing IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity, and leading a team of IT professionals to deliver efficient technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, and technology resources.
  • Oversee the integration of ERP systems such as SAP and Glovia into the organizational framework.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols and manage risks associated with IT.
  • Lead and mentor the IT department, fostering professional development and skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee technology procurement processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Director or similar role in IT management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with ERP systems, specifically Glovia and SAP.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities.
  • Understanding of compliance regulations related to information technology.
