Role Description The Project Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Rowlett, TX. This role is responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications, performing detailed quantity takeoffs, and preparing accurate cost estimates for concrete construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing labor, material, and equipment costs, requesting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotes, and developing competitive bids and budgets. The Project Estimator collaborates with project managers and field teams to refine estimates, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with project scope and schedules. The role also involves maintaining estimating records, updating cost databases, and communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders about estimate assumptions and changes.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Project Estimation and Construction Estimating for concrete or related construction projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cost Management and Budgeting to develop accurate, competitive, and financially sound proposals.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, vendors, clients, and management.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and basic project management tools.
- Relevant experience in construction estimating, preferably within concrete or civil construction, is highly beneficial.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work on multiple bids and deadlines are important.
- Knowledge of local building codes, industry standards, and construction methods in Texas is an advantage.
