Location: Chandler, AZ; Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; and Jersey City, NJ from Day 1 (Client prefer local folks)

Hybrid Schedule: 3 Onsite Days (Tue, Wed, Thur) & 2 Remote Days (Mon, Fri)

Duration: 6+ months, extendable

Job Description:
\n

- Mainframe DB2 Systems Programmer
- Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, tuning, and supporting DB2 for z/OS subsystems in a mission-critical enterprise environment.
- The z/OS role may require weekend maintenance windows and IPL activities.
\n
\n
\n
\n
Mandatory requirements include:
\n
- \n
- 7 to 12 plus years of mainframe experience.
- 3 to 5 plus years of DB2 systems programming or administration experience.
- Strong experience with DB2 for z/OS.
- Experience with DB2 replication products, including QRep, SQLRep, or CDC.
- DB2 software installation, upgrades, maintenance, testing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of ZPARMs, buffer pools, logs, BSDS, catalog, and directory.
- Experience with DB2 Data Sharing, Sysplex, Coupling Facility, HA, and DR
- Strong troubleshooting skills for DB2 subsystem, performance, and connectivity issues.
- Proficiency with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and SDSF.
- Willingness to work onsite three days per week.

- DB2 utilities and performance tools.
- OMEGAMON or MainView
- Endevor or ISPW
- Large-scale DB2 upgrades, migrations, or optimization initiatives.
- z/OS Connect and API modernization.
- BMC DB2 tools, ADABAS, and Natural.
- REXX, SQL, JIRA, RACF, TCP/IP, network certificates, and Splunk.
- Working knowledge of CICS, IMS, and MQ.

Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hr
\n
\n
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
