SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):
\n
• Wi-Fi Interoperability & Test Architecture | Expertise in Wi-Fi device testing, interoperability validation, Octoscope-based testing, connectivity, onboarding, roaming, band steering, PHY rate, and end-to-end customer use cases
\n
• Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Team Management | Leading onsite and offshore test teams, driving test strategy, execution oversight, defect prioritization, entry/exit criteria management, and program coordination
\n
• RF Lab Management & Client Stakeholder Communication | Ownership of RF/Wi-Fi lab infrastructure, device coordination, test environment management, executive reporting, risk communication, and direct client engagement
\n

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Experience collaborating with engineering teams across international time zones (specifically India time zone)

POSITION OVERVIEW
\n
This engineering role sits within the client testing and quality assurance department, reporting directly to the program management and engineering leadership. The professional will solve complex wireless connectivity challenges by owning the end-to-end Wi-Fi test strategy, driving cross-functional execution oversight across onsite and offshore teams, and ensuring high-performance device interoperability.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
\n
• Define and drive test coverage across connectivity, onboarding, PHY Rate, Band Steering, roaming, and end-to-end customer use cases in a live lab environment using Octoscope.
\n
• Manage onsite RF lab infrastructure, coordinate device availability, and maintain the test environment.
\n
• Direct both onsite and offshore engineers across density, ensuring alignment on scope, entry/exit criteria, and defect prioritization.
\n
• Present test progress, risk, and quality metrics directly to client program managers while collaborating closely with development and cross-functional teams.
\n
• Drive the program and manage cross-functional teams spanning the client side and offshore teams in India, including flexibility to work with Indian teams overlapping in the Indian timezone.
\n
