Job Title: Sr. Electro-mechanical Engineering Technician

Company: Global Consumer appliances

Reports To: President

Rapidly growing global patented, profitable, company.

We are looking for a hands-on builder, tinkerer to help next-generation consumer products from development to reality.

We need a practical, senior-level doer. We currently have hardware development coming from one supplier and software coming from another. Your primary focus will be bringing these two worlds together: integrating the systems, building out the physical prototypes, and running rigorous quality testing to ensure everything works flawlessly.

You will work to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing, ensuring our consumer appliances are ready for global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Integration: Take the hardware and the software, assemble them, and make them talk to each other.
  • Prototyping & Wiring: Handle full prototype assembly, clean wiring, component layout, and expertly "put electronics in a box" for consumer appliances.
  • Bench Work & Troubleshooting: Read schematics, troubleshoot PCBs, perform precise soldering/desoldering, and handle board-level reworks as issues arise.
  • Quality & Test Focus: Develop and execute test plans to find bugs, hardware flaws, and software glitches. Break things on the test bench so we can fix them before they get to the customer.
  • Global Compliance: Assist in reviewing and testing systems to meet global safety and compliance standards (such as CE, EU, and other international certifications).

What We Are Looking For

  • The Electronic Tinkerer Mindset: You genuinely love consumer products and gadgets. You are likely the type of person who builds, tweaks, and experiments with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms in your spare time.
  • Solid Technical Skills: Proven, hands-on mastery of soldering, wiring, layout assembly, and reading schematics.
  • Experience with Consumer Products: Background working with white goods, smart appliances, IoT devices, or cooling systems
  • No Degree Required: A formal engineering degree is welcome, but a proven track record of deep, hands-on troubleshooting, QA/testing, and practical technician skill is what actually matters to us.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in a small, fast-paced innovation environment where you can work independently and see your impact every single day.

What’s In It For You

  • GREAT Pay and a retirement program.
  • Work-Life Balance: Stable Monday through Friday schedule with plenty of time off.
  • Innovation Culture: Work directly with a profitable, growing, global products operation dealing with world-class, cutting-edge products.

All applicants will be kept in strict confidence.
