As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Clerk in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, helping to support a secure environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong communication. In this unarmed role, you will assist with security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
- Support access control, facility rules, and after-hours procedures while maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance during routine operations and unexpected events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
