Job Description

The Assistant Property Manager supports the management of mixed-use properties by overseeing tenant relations, lease administration, maintenance, and financial tasks. Working within a medium-sized team and reporting to the Regional Manager, this role involves moderate travel and requires strong coordination and communication skills to ensure smooth property operations and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage tenant relations and resolve complaints promptly
  • Administer lease agreements and assist with tenant screening
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services
  • Oversee rent collection and assist with financial reporting
  • Conduct facility inspections to ensure property standards
  • Support budget preparation and monitor expenses
  • Maintain accurate records and support marketing efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in property management
  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Familiarity with property management software
  • Strong knowledge of tenant relations and leasing procedures
  • Experience coordinating maintenance and budgeting
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management abilities
