Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Maintenance Director Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations, including repairs, renovations, and capital projects

• Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure timely completion of tasks

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and programs to ensure efficient use of resources

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address potential issues

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards

Maintenance Director Requirements:

• Prior experience preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Familiarity with building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
