Job Summary
Terraces of Lake Worth, FL, a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lake Worth, FL is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Maintenance Director will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance and repair of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry

Coordinate with the management team to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks

Ensure compliance with safety and building codes

Supervise a team of maintenance staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules

Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination

Respond to resident complaints and concerns regarding facility maintenance
Requirements

Maintenance Director experience in a healthcare facility with a minimum of 2 years experience

Strong understanding of maintenance and repair principles and practices

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
