Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-Leaning)
Location: New York, NY - Hybrid: 3 Days Onsite (Mon/Wed/Thu), 2 Days Remote
Base Salary: up to $220,000

We are a high-growth, VC-backed B2B healthcare technology company transforming how medical and dental practices operate. By combining an established vertical marketplace with a next-generation AI platform, we eliminate operational friction so providers can focus on patient care.
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who leans heavily frontend to help drive the development of our flagship, agentic AI platform. This product automates complex, high-friction revenue cycle and back-office workflows including insurance communication, claim processing, payment reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
You will spend roughly 80% of your time on our AI-powered workflow platform and 20% on our core marketplace, owning features end-to-end across two frontend contexts: a modern React/TypeScript SPA for the AI platform, and a Django server-rendered app with bundled JS for the marketplace.
What You’ll Do:
• Craft Exceptional User Experiences: Build fast, highly intuitive frontend experiences in React and TypeScript that make complex financial and
administrative workflows feel simple and seamless
• End-to-End Ownership: Take features across the full delivery cycle—from UI component architecture and state management down to backend API
integration and deployment
• Backend Development: Build and maintain lightweight, high-performance REST APIs and data models primarily using Python and FastAPI.
• Modern AI Development Workflow: Actively incorporate AI coding agents into your daily development workflow for planning, implementation, and code
reviews
• Product Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with product and business stakeholders to translate complex customer problems into simple product
experiences, mentor engineers, and advocate for frontend quality across the team
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: 6–12 years of software engineering experience with a proven, primary focus on frontend development
• Frontend Mastery: Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and solid UI fundamentals (layout, performance, and state management)
• Modern React Ecosystem: Hands-on experience or familiarity with TanStack Router, TanStack Query, and schema-driven API tools like Zod
• Backend Range: Solid working knowledge of backend systems and APIs (primarily Python and FastAPI)
• Product & Engineering Caliber: Prior experience with workflow-heavy B2B SaaS, fintech/payments, billing, insurance, or vertical marketplaces. Proven
track record at reputable VC-backed startups and/or top-tier tech companies
• CS degree preferred, but exceptional non-degree talent is welcome
