Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (Rare weekend emergency calls)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + optional housing package available (pay will be determined by qualifications and benefits package chosen)
About the Role
MD & CW Properties LLC is seeking a dependable, multi-skilled Residential Property Maintenance Technician to care for our rental home portfolio in Magnolia, AR. You will handle day-to-day repairs, routine updates, and property refreshes both during active tenant occupancy and during turnovers between leases.
Key Responsibilities
- Unit Turnovers & Refreshes: Prepare vacant homes for new tenants, including drywall patch/repair, interior painting, fixture upgrades, and general punch-list repairs.
- Occupied Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve daily tenant maintenance requests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- General Repairs: Perform routine tasks across basic plumbing (leaky faucets, toilet runs), electrical (outlet/switch replacement, light fixtures), carpentry, and hardware installs.
- Exterior & Grounds Maintenance: Conduct basic outdoor cleanups, minor landscaping, fence/deck touch-ups, and exterior home repairs as needed.
- Property Inspections: Help identify preventive maintenance needs to keep properties safe and well-maintained.
Qualifications & Skills
- Practical experience in general residential maintenance, handyperson work, or home construction/remodeling.
- Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
- Solid communication and customer service skills when interacting with tenants.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and basic personal tools required.
