Job DescriptionMancan is currently seeking a dedicated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join a growing property management team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the property operates smoothly and efficiently while providing excellent service to residents. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining the physical assets of the community, completing resident service requests, and ensuring the overall appearance and condition of the property meet company standards.
Daily responsibilities include completing maintenance work orders and apartment turns within established timeframes, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, monitoring inventory and supplies, assisting with contractor oversight, and maintaining the grounds and common areas of the community. This position requires a proactive individual who can identify potential issues, communicate effectively with management, and provide prompt solutions to maintenance concerns. The Maintenance Technician will also participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24-hour emergency maintenance services and will be provided with a company cell phone for on-call responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and basic landscaping maintenance. Strong customer service skills are essential, as this position regularly interacts with residents, vendors, contractors, and team members. Candidates must be organized, dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Qualified applicants should possess a high school diploma and reliable transportation. Previous experience working in a multifamily housing community is preferred. HVAC certification is required, or candidates must be willing to obtain certification within 60 days of permanent hire. Company will pay for certification.
