Job DescriptionReports to: Engineering ManagerLocated in: Prior LakeCooperates with: Engineering, Sales, Production, Project ManagementPrimary Responsibility: We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Project Engineer to take the lead on complex, high-impact development and customer projects. This role operates at the intersection of sales, engineering, and operations, serving as a senior technical resource who guides solution design, supports strategic sales efforts, and ensures successful project execution. The Senior Project Engineer is capable of independently driving projects from concept through implementation, evaluating product functionality to fit customer needs, and troubleshooting challenging engineering problems. This position plays a key role in mentoring junior engineers, improving processes, and supporting the long-term scalability of MIRATECH's product portfolio.What You'll Do:Take the lead on high-level development projects, serving as the primary technical authority throughout the sales and execution lifecycleRespond to advanced customer inquiries regarding product specifications, features, and integration capabilitiesCommunicate with and educate our sales staff and customers on our technical solutionsEnsure proposed solutions are correctly sized and constructed to meet quality standardsSupport the creation of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation for potential clients.Participate in sales meetings and customer negotiations, providing senior-level technical insight and risk assessmentSupport Operations and Project Management teams during execution, resolving technical challenges as they ariseEstimate project costs and consult on product design with Sales and Production teams to optimize manufacturability and deliveryPerform installation support and advanced troubleshooting for new and custom products in the field as neededDevelop tools, documentation, and standards to transition mature products to Catalyzer or other internal teamsMentor and provide technical guidance to junior Project EngineersWhat Qualifies You:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.10+ years in a related engineering field or engineering employment at MIRATECHExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clientsExceptional experience with time management, organization skills, meeting project deadlines, problem solving, and creative solutionsStrong technical judgment and the ability to troubleshoot challenging engineering problems.Ability to work independently to produce high-caliber deliverables in a short time frameExperience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or technical documentation softwareProficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proficient with SolidWorks CAD or equivalentCommitment to MIRATECH and positive sense of cultureWhat's in it for You:Competitive Salary5% 401K match$350 Annual Wellness Credit15 days annual PTO5 days annual Sick LeaveSalary range starting at $100,000+ per year, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.Equal Opportunity: MIRATECH is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce.
