Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join a contract assignment supporting daily IT operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented support specialist who can manage Tier 2 issues, resolve tickets efficiently, and provide dependable desktop and user account support across a Microsoft-based environment. The position offers the opportunity to work with Windows devices, Active Directory, printers, and Azure-related tools while contributing to smooth end-user support.
Responsibilities:
• Resolve Tier 2 support requests by diagnosing technical issues and driving tickets through to completion within established service expectations.
• Provide desktop support for systems running Windows 10 and Windows 11, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and access-related concerns.
• Set up and configure workstations, docking stations, and related desktop equipment for new and existing users.
• Troubleshoot printers and label-making devices to minimize downtime and maintain operational productivity.
• Manage user lifecycle tasks such as account provisioning, access updates, and offboarding processing within Active Directory and associated systems.
• Support Microsoft and Azure-based tools by assisting users with access, configuration, and common technical issues.
• Use PowerShell-supported processes and AI-assisted tools to streamline routine support activities and improve efficiency.
• Assist with basic support needs involving server-connected environments when required, including coordination with broader infrastructure teams.• At least 2 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or service desk environments.
• Proven ability to handle Tier 2 technical issues and work through a high volume of support tickets.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 troubleshooting.
• Experience administering user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
• Familiarity with printer and label printer troubleshooting in a business environment.
• Understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Azure-related products and services.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell and willingness to use AI-enabled tools to support technical workflows.
• Exposure to Windows Server environments is helpful but not required.
