We are looking for a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across residential and commercial properties in Watertown, NY. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can balance tenant service, property performance, and regulatory compliance while keeping facilities well maintained. The right candidate will bring practical property management experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with residents, vendors, and internal stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations for assigned residential and commercial properties, ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas are maintained to a high standard.

• Coordinate leasing activity, tenant communication, and occupancy-related tasks to support a positive resident and client experience.

• Monitor property budgets, review expenses, and help control operating costs while supporting financial performance goals.

• Arrange maintenance and repair work with contractors and service providers, following up to confirm quality and timely completion.

• Conduct routine site inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities to improve overall property condition.

• Maintain accurate property records, prepare operational reports, and keep documentation organized for leases, inspections, and vendor services.

• Support compliance with applicable housing guidelines and requirements, ensuring policies and documentation remain current.

• Address tenant questions, service issues, and escalations professionally, working toward timely and practical resolutions.

• At least 1 year of experience in property management, including exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.

• Working knowledge of property operations, tenant relations, leasing coordination, and vendor management.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organized records, and respond effectively to day-to-day operational needs.

• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build productive relationships with tenants, owners, and contractors.

• Proficiency in handling administrative tasks, tracking property-related information, and supporting basic budget oversight.
