We’re seeking a skilled Project Maintenance Technician with HVAC experience to support renovation projects, capital improvements, and major repairs throughout our apartment community. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys hands‐on project work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and can confidently troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
What You’ll Do
- Project Repairs — Complete medium and large‐scale maintenance projects including carpentry, drywall, flooring, and interior/exterior repairs.
- HVAC Troubleshooting — Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including compressors, fan motors, thermostats, and refrigerant levels.
- Unit Renovations — Assist with full or partial unit rehabs, including kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Capital Improvements — Support scheduled upgrades such as lighting replacements, exterior enhancements, and amenity improvements.
- Vendor Coordination — Work with contractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Safety & Compliance — Maintain safe work practices and ensure all HVAC work meets code requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- EPA Certification (Type I/II or Universal)
- Strong HVAC diagnostic and repair skills
- Experience with renovations, construction, or project‐based maintenance
- Proficiency in carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building systems
- Ability to follow project scopes and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Reliable, detail‐oriented, and committed to high‐quality workmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
