Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Nature's Finest Security is currently seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-oriented Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a location on Smith Street in Newburgh, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in protecting people and property while providing exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the assigned property to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Control access to the facility and verify authorized visitors.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, security concerns, or emergencies.
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Respond professionally to emergencies and assist law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents, visitors, employees, and guests.
• Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Current 8-Hour Annual Security Guard Training Certificate (or be in compliance with NYS training requirements).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
• Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
