Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software for advanced radar, tracking, and RF sensing systems that support U.S. Department of Defense programs. You will design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software, primarily using C++ within Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for advanced radar and RF sensing systems.
- Integrate and test software within Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environments.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to support new product development.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ development.
- Experience with Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environments.
- Experience with multi-threaded and concurrent software architectures.
- Understanding of embedded hardware architectures and low-level software concepts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $88.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
