Our client is seeking a Workday Integration Lead to provide post-go-live integrations support as part of a growing internal Workday support team. With multiple operator go-lives targeted for January 1 and April of next year, this individual will serve as the internal integrations expert responsible for supporting, governing, and optimizing Workday integrations across a multi-operator enterprise environment. The role is focused on day-two support, integration governance, and ensuring SI partner work meets long-term standards rather than creating unnecessary complexity. The ideal candidate is hands-on, practical, and able to both execute integration work and educate internal teams. US citizens and green card holders only; H-1B candidates will not be considered.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ years of Workday integration experience with strong emphasis on post-go-live production support.
- Expert knowledge of Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Document Transformation, and Workday Web Services.
- Experience supporting and governing complex inbound and outbound integrations with HRIS, payroll, finance, identity management, and third-party applications.
- Ability to review and challenge SI partner integration designs to prevent over-customization and ensure maintainability.
- Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues in a fast-moving, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate internal teams and partner with both technical and functional stakeholders.

Preferred / Desired Experience

- Workday Integration certification strongly preferred.
- Experience transitioning integration ownership from SI partners to internal support teams.
- Background establishing integration governance standards and reusable frameworks across multiple operators or business units.
- Knowledge of security architecture, data privacy, and integration governance best practices.
- Experience supporting Workday release cycles and post-production enhancements.
- Familiarity with middleware platforms and enterprise integration strategies.
- Previous experience in high-growth enterprise environments with active implementation timelines.
