Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and minimize production downtime.
- Perform equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance issues.
- Support equipment installation, start-up, and modifications.
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and downtime-reduction initiatives.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production emergencies as needed.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications
\n

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical degree, certification, or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance preferred.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, overtime, and/or different shifts as required.

Preferred Experience
\n

- Automotive or metal-mechanical manufacturing experience.
- Experience with PLCs and industrial controls.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems.
- Experience with stamping, welding, presses, conveyors, and automated production equipment.

Physical Requirements
\n

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in manufacturing areas for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move tools, equipment, and materials as required.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
