Now Hiring - General Maintenance Workers (Acworth/Cartersville-Lake Allatoona)

Park Marina in Acworth on Lake Allatoona is seeking dependable, motivated, and skilled maintenance professionals to join our team on beautiful Lake Allatoona. This position is ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy working outdoors, troubleshooting a variety of physical projects, and keeping our premier waterfront facilities safe and fully operational.

From dock building to structural repairs and general property upkeep, you will play a vital role in our daily lakeside operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Dock Building & Repair: Construct, modify, and maintain floating dock systems and walkways.
• Property Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency repairs on marina buildings, facilities, and grounds.
• Utility Infrastructure: Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on shoreline/dockside electrical and plumbing systems.
• General Trades: Utilize carpentry, basic welding, and mechanical skills to complete various construction and structural projects.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with marina standards.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in general construction, property maintenance, or facility upkeep is preferred.
• Core Skills: Strong working knowledge or trade experience in at least one of the following areas: Carpentry, Electrical, Welding, or Plumbing.
• Physical Capabilities:
• • Must be an able-bodied worker capable of lifting heavy materials and handling physical labor in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must be able to swim (essential for working safely over and around the water).
  • Comfortable working at heights and on floating, moving structures.
• Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, have reliable transportation, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Screening: Must be drug-free and able to pass a background check/drug screening.
