Duties

• Partner closely with UI/UX designers to build tooling that enables Android prototyping and development.

\n

• Support cross-functional collaboration between design and engineering teams.

\n

• Translate technical concepts and challenges into language understandable by designers, product managers, and other non-technical stakeholders.

\n

• Contribute to scalable UI patterns and design system initiatives.

Requirements

\n

\n
• 7-10+ years Android engineering experience.

\n

• Lead-level capabilities desired.

\n

• Strong Android Development Experience

\n

• Expert-level Android SDK knowledge.

\n

• Experience building Android UI solutions.

\n

• UI Framework Expertise

\n

• Must have experience with both:

\n

\n
• Jetpack Compose

\n

• Traditional XML-based Android Views

\n

\n

• Design Systems Experience

\n

• Hands-on experience building, maintaining, or enabling design systems.

\n

• Experience creating tooling/platforms that support designers and engineers.

\n

• Familiarity alone is not sufficient.

\n

• Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

\n

\n
• Android animation expertise and best practices.

\n

• Strong UX/design mindset.

\n

• Familiarity with AI tools and agentic workflows.

\n

• Experience working in highly collaborative design-engineering environments.

\n

• Ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Compensation
