Job Description Process & Systems Manager

Location: On Site: Clear Lake, IA or Minneapolis, MN

About the Role

Pritchard Companies is looking for a Process & Systems Manager to join our Commercial team. This role is focused on improving how our business operates across processes, systems, and data.

The Process & Systems Manager will work across Commercial Sales, Sales Support, Finance, Accounting, and other teams to understand how work is being done today, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and help build better, more consistent processes for the future. This person will play an important role in documenting workflows, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), improving system utilization and data integrity, and leading process improvement initiatives from discovery through implementation.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys digging into how and why things work, and can bring structure to complex or inconsistent processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Meet with teams across the Commercial business to understand and document current processes from start to finish.
  • Map workflows across Sales, Sales Support, Finance, Accounting, order processing, titling, billing, and other related functions.
  • Identify gaps, bottlenecks, duplicate efforts, unclear handoffs, and opportunities to improve efficiency and accountability.
  • Develop future-state workflows and recommend practical process improvements.
  • Create clear process maps, flowcharts, SOPs, and supporting documentation.
  • Help establish an organized and sustainable approach for maintaining process documentation.
  • Evaluate how Commercial systems support business processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows and system utilization.
  • Work with systems including SHAED, Lightyear, Monday.com, HubSpot, vehicle management systems, and other Commercial tools.
  • Identify process and system issues contributing to incomplete, inconsistent, or unreliable information.
  • Help establish stronger data ownership, controls, and accountability.
  • Lead process improvement and system-related projects from discovery through implementation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and help drive change, communication, training, and adoption.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Several years of experience in project management, business process improvement, business operations, systems analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience evaluating, mapping, documenting, and improving business processes.
  • Experience leading projects or process improvement initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Experience developing SOPs, process maps, or other operational documentation.
  • Strong critical-thinking, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to learn complex business processes and systems quickly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive progress.
  • Ability to influence and lead change across teams without relying on direct reporting authority.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot, Monday.com, or similar CRM/workflow platforms.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, process controls, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or change management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Previous people leadership experience.
  • Automotive, fleet, vehicle management, sales operations, or Commercial business experience.

Location & Travel

This position may be based in Clear Lake, IA or Minneapolis, MN and is an on-site role. A Minneapolis-based employee should expect regular travel to Clear Lake, including approximately two to three days per week during at least the first 90 days.

Why Pritchard Companies?

This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you can help shape how the Commercial business operates. If you enjoy breaking down complex problems, developing better processes, and seeing improvements through from idea to implementation, we’d love to hear from you.
