We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic maintenance skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. This position is responsible for assisting with the upkeep, repair, and appearance of the property while providing excellent service to residents.
Responsibilities
- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
- Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and surface preparation.
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas and grounds.
- Participate in the property's on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies when required.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to paint and perform basic repair work.
- Willingness to be on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to work weekends or evenings as needed.
