Job Title: Prerequisite Coordinator
Location: 121 S.W. Salmon St. Portland Oregon 97204 United States
Pay Rate: $25/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
Duration of Contract: 12-month contract with extension/conversion possibility
Job at a Glance:
- We maintain all Vegetation clearances around power lines, etc.
- We process around 15K work orders a year that call out either tree trimming and landscape clearance, as well as some landscape restoration work, all of which support company’s construction projects.
- Primary systems utilized throughout the day are Maximo and Quickbase.
- Both of these systems will be heavily used for internal work order creations.
Responsibilities:
- Create and enter internal work orders accurately and efficiently to support vegetation/landscape work tied to construction projects.
- Use core systems such as Maximo and Quickbase daily for work order creation and tracking.
- Navigate and work across 10–15 applications per day to complete work order creation tasks.
- Ensure work orders are complete, consistent, and aligned to process expectations (data quality is critical).
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders via email and phone regarding work order details, corrections, and updates.
- Identify potential process improvement opportunities (nice-to-have) and share ideas with the team.
Required Skills:
- Extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to stay focused in repetitive work.
- Strong communication skills with excellent grammar (written and verbal: email + phone).
- Comfortable with technology and working in a computer-heavy role using many applications throughout the day.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations while maintaining high accuracy.
